New Cobb Senior Centers website makes it easier to find schedules and activities

Cobb County Senior Services has rolled out a new website design that makes it easier to find events and classes held at specific senior centers.

To access timetables just visit this linkclick on the specific senior center near you in the menu on the left of the screen and browse a list of what the center has to offer.

Here is a sample schedule, taken from the Freeman Poole Senior Center:

The mission of Cobb Senior Services is to improve the quality of life for the 55+ community and their families through innovative programs, resources and community partnerships.

Our primary goal is to assist our clients and their families in their efforts to remain independent through affordable transportation, nutrition, recreation, education, socialization, exercise, and home care services. Additionally, we offer veteran outreach services, volunteer opportunities, and connection to various resources and services in the area.

Cobb Senior Services operates the following senior centers: Freeman Poole Centerthe North Cobb Senior Centerthe Wellness center for seniorsthe Tim D. Lee Senior Centerand the West Cobb Senior Center.

In addition to the centers for the elderly, there are three neighborhood centers, Austell and Mariettaand one in the North Cobb Senior Center.
