Los Angeles Dodgers star shortstop Trea Turner is the most recent athlete to join Ladder, the sports nutrition company founded by LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Founded in 2018 by LeBron James, his trainer Mike Mancias and Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ladder is a brand of training supplements for top performing athletes. Ladder creates products that are both third-party verified and compliant with the NSF Certified for Sport® seal of approval, meaning every ingredient and dose is approved by all major sports governing bodies and is free of banned substances . As of this writing, more than 52 professional sports teams from the MLB, NFL, NHL, and NBA use Ladder Supplements.

LeBron James came up with the idea to start Ladder after the 2014 NBA Finals, during which he found his performance hampered by persistent muscle cramps. He consulted Mancias, his trainer, to produce the perfect sports complement, one that would give him a competitive edge on the biggest stage in the world. They consulted with Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose extensive knowledge of the supplement industry helped them navigate their options.

“You can’t climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets,” Schwarzenegger said.

Together, the trio spent four years creating a premium line of supplements.

Trea Turner joins a growing list of elite athletes who champion Ladder products. The Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop brings a great resume to the company. Turner was the 2021 National League batting champion, was a two-time MLB stolen base leader and was an All-Star last season. At Ladder, he joins athletes like LeBron James, Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl defensive end Myles Garret and women’s boxing champion Seniesa Estrada.

“I’m thrilled to join the Ladder family,” said Turner. “Staying at the top of my game over a 162-game season isn’t easy, which is why Ladder’s own performance products are such an integral part of my daily routine.”

Turner isn’t the only one making announcements. Ladder recently launched a new line of supplements called Superfoods Greens, which improves upon older products by adding probiotics, new ingredients, and lemon-ginger flavor. The new supplement is plant-based and packed with essential vitamins and nutrients, making it an ideal addition to vegan diets. Ladder products are formulated by the company’s team of scientists, who consult with a group of leading sports nutrition experts to achieve the best results.
