The vision set out in the initial submission of the recovery plan builds on the recommendations set out in the HoCo RISE Collaboration Report, which charted a course for a continued response and recovery from the pandemic last March. TThe launch of the US bailout website and submission of the initial recovery plan follows months of efforts to ensure the availability of funds for the county’s continued recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The American Rescue Plan Act was enacted by President Biden on March 11, 2021, with the aim of providing support to state, local and tribal governments to respond to the impact of COVID-19 and contain COVID-19 within of their communities, residents and businesses.
